This position is for 16-20 hours a week, and includes 2 weekdays and joining a weekend rotation schedule

Essential job duties

• Room and prepare patients for scheduled appointments

• Administer direct patient care as ordered by physician

• Manage and document incoming patient calls using structured triage and home care advice tools

• Manage incoming MyChart messages under structured triage and home care tools

• Prepare and administer immunizations and other medical treatments in the office

• Provide education and support to patients and families under the direction of physicians

• Plan and prioritize patient care throughout the day

• Light cleaning of exam rooms

• Stock exam rooms with essential medical supplies 

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse License

• CPR certification

• Knowledge of EPIC preferred, or experience with EMR systems

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• One year of nursing experience preferred
